Ha! I love beets! They're like pretty amber and ruby jewels you get to eat!!! And, yes, cauliflower is gross. I imagine that's what styrofoam tastes like. But... PICKLES? How do you not like pickles? (I want some right now)

[Bears. Beets. Battlestar Gallactica] <-- Don't ask why I added this beacause, well... I can't possibly think of a viable excuse.

I love the randomness of this post!! Truly entertaining!

I don't like olives, beets, or mushrooms. Although I LOVE the flavor of mushrooms, just not the texture. So I still buy them and cook with them. I love pickles.

I love mushrooms. Not so much olives. And I'm with you on pickles. Jon loves them, though. One time when I was pregnant we went to the store to get ice cream. While we were there, Jon remembered we were out of pickles and wanted us to get a jar. I refused--simply because it would be too cliche.
And Boston is my crush, too. What a fun city. My sister-in-law is always trying to find ways to get Jon and I (and now Laurel) to move there so we could live in the same city.
Hey...I'm going to be in Ohio and Kentucky soon...which are both WAY closer to Nashville than Edmonton is. So, it's kind of like I'm coming to visit you!
Have a blast in Boston.

Hooray for hating Tuna. It's dreadful and I have no idea why so many people seem to love it so much.
Other cool factors- Coffee, Gum, Seattle, Boston, and Eclipse. I knew there was a reason I read this.
Read the book- it gets weirder.

I find it fascinating that olives and pickles are somewhat opposing forces for you. Usually those end up on the same side for many people -- in the briny category. I'm a lover of most things on your list EXCEPT beets - I blame it on school lunches of the 60s where there were canned crinkle-cut beets on the plate and the smell permeated the building - bleh! Cauliflower - can take it or leave it...definitely a neutral.

Have you ever tried green olives on pizza? It's my favorite pizza topping, but I've only met one other person who didn't immediately contort their face in revoltion at the mention of it.

I have to disagree on pickles. I can eat a whole jar in one go.
