Haha! Little AP– when my French friends were visiting, one of them kept saying “focus”– a very proper, gentlemanly Frenchman– and EVERY time, it came out, “Fuk-yews.” I finally explained what he was saying and he was mortified. ‘Twas adorable. :)

Grown-up AP, i.e., Greta’s best friend:
There are things I could say.
Like:
I love having you in my bed.
Or,
Pillow talk with you is the best.
Or,
It is so funny when “arousal” comes up in our conversations.

Yet, given the context, all those things seem dreadfully inappropriate. Let the dwellers of Annie’s blog comment section understand: we are both confirmedly heterosexual.

Still, Annie pillow talk is the best. :)

Love this!! I can’t even count the amount of times I have made similar slips (one time included dropping the “F” bomb in a conversation with a pastor’s wife – one of the most conservative ladies I know!). Oh the joys of a tongue that cannot be tamed!
