To tell stories

Written by hootenannie on March 8th, 2010

Kathryn Bigelow is 58-years old?  I seriously thought she was 32.  What a beautiful woman.

Watching the Oscars makes me want to be in show business.  I just want to tell stories for the rest of my life.

I guess that this blog will have to do.

Living stories with people you love, and then telling them repeatedly, is one of my favorite parts of life. Maybe that’s why I blog.

Your blog is great, don’t get me wrong, but turn that creative mind towards the telling of Seattle to Nashville story in memior book form. Heck, I will even be your editor when you finish a rough draft. We can outline the whole thing when you get here, in less than a week yo!

That’s how I feel whenever I watch a good movie, read a good book… I want to tell stories… and then, like you said, I return to the blog… I’m glad you keep coming back to it to tell your bits.

I couldn’t agree more. Every time I see an incredible movie, read a book that stays with you long after the last page is turned or see incredibly talented people all dolled up at an awards show, I feel I missed my calling in life. It’s all about stories. I’ve really enjoyed reading your blog and learning yours.

ok see but here’s the problem with blog instead of oscars… no dress! that’s the best part. maybe you should arrange a blogging community red carpet event? if nothing else, we could at least count on it being well documented…
