In a moment of self-doubt…

“I don’t know, Mom. I think I’m pretty good at a lot of things, but I’m not great at anything.”

“Except parallel parking.”

“Well yeah. There’s that.”

I think that’s probably a pretty common thought among young adults in general. The humble ones, at least. The truth is, you’re probably great at a lot of things and just don’t necessarily see it.

Besides, great parallel parking is nothing to scoff at. Many Nashvillians could use better skills in that area.

Annasazi..(sorry, it was either that or Anners!)…let’s be real…you have an amazing voice, you write incredible lyrics…and your blog is one of my favorite things to read…you want to talk about not being great at anything–you should see me in pottery class–I LITERALLY made an ash tray last week. An ash tray. agh!
