When the sun goes down

blog

Last night I had a dream that Kenny Chesney and a completely bald Keith Urban wanted to hang out with me.  Actually, to be specific, Kenny asked if he could drive my car, and I was like, “CAN YOU EVER” – which is weird because I generally distrust men in necklaces.

So Kenny, Keith, and I loaded into the old Honda, and I insisted on sitting in between them, which was very awkward because that put me in between the bucket seats and on top of the emergency break.  But we were cruising along, and at one point, I said, “Guys, you know that we’re going to have to take a picture – because no one is ever going to believe me.”  They both laughed reluctantly, like, “Yeah, sure,” but I could tell that they didn’t really want anyone to know that they had spent any time with me.  They were just using me for my car.

Are we sure this was a dream?

I dreamed once that Ben Affleck befriended me because I so casually walked up to him and gave him some keys I found on the ground in what was clearly a hotel he owned.

We hung out for a while, flirted with some cute girls who happened to be running a hot dog vending stand. Then he invited me to fly down to Mexico for the day. That’s when I woke up.

I’ve said too much. However: this dream happened during Ben’s get-me-out-of-the-limelight period, so I’m always cheering him on now – since we’re buds.

I laughed out loud twice while reading this. Thank you, AP, just what I needed this week!

I just dreamt this week that at a coffee shop, while we were using those stir sticks side-by-side, I befriended John Mayer, then told him though he was 75% legit, he was the equivalent of a male whore…

Guys using you in your dreams. That’s not the stuff dreams are supposed to made of.

Then again, country music star men have never featured in any of my dreams. Remember, I’m the girl who always has dreams where I wake up pregnant in airports. That’s no dream of mine in real life.

This is one of your best posts ever… but then again… you have a lot of your best posts ever. I mean… it’s a post and it’s yours and it’s the best.
