Tour of Homes: Annie Edition

blog

You thought that I was your favorite Annie.

Well, my little sweeties, prepare to forsake me for another.

I have this friend Annie Downs.  You probably already read her blog – but if you don’t, you should start.  Because people, this girl has got it going on.

Annie and I decided to swap videos, giving each other tours of our new homes.  After I moved to Denver, she moved across town in Nashville – and not knowing where she is?  Has been killing me a little bit.

But it doesn’t have to kill you!  Here she is, giving you a tour of her new place.

If you’re curious to see where I’ve been hanging my hat (proverbial hat, that is – I don’t actually own a hat), head over to AnnieBlogs.com to see my happy little home.

And… what’s that?  You can’t get enough of the Annies?  Don’t worry – we’re archived.

Annie…your video on annieblogs made me smile…you’re quite an entertaining person!!! If it wasn’t creepy, like hello…random person from the middle of nowhere here, I’d come to visit you- lol. I think we could have some fun adventures. Again, I love the couch and your fondness for green!

hahaha. Yes, Annie P…I want to come visit you. You have a hallway? I don’t have a hallway. When you come to be our nanny, can you also re-decorate our house? Because I like your taste.

I don’t quite know where to comment on which video, so I’ll comment on your tour here instead of Annie Down’s page. Umm…where should I start?

First off, let me say I LOVE the flowered chair! It is so utterly fabulous and I wish my flowered chair (I have one too!) were as cool as yours. It’s close…but…not quite. Also, love the rug, and your couch. That’s nice.

What’s funny about the air conditioner is that it’s a WINDOW unit. I’m amazed that there is no window there. That’s like, an epic design failure for who(m?)ever built those apts! Moving on.

LOVE your kitchen! When I lived in Dallas, I had a little one person dishwasher and I thought it was so cute too. Until it didn’t wash right, and then I didn’t like it so much.

I have no idea who Amy Butler is (wait, I just googled her) but I absolutely think those are some of the most beautiful towels I’ve ever seen. Also love the PB shower curtain. Cuteness!

Lastly…can we just bond over the fact that, while pedestal sinks look nice, they are absolutely horrible functionality wise? When I moved back to Mississippi, the house I’m renting has a pedestal sink and it looks very pretty, but I have absolutely NOWHERE to store my stuff! It’s quite annoying. Thanks for letting me rant on that.

Sorry I have just like, taken over your comment section with the longest comment ever, but I felt the need. I’ve never read your blog before but if you’re as funny as the other Annie (which, I have a feeling you are) then I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to start! :)

    Thanks for sharing! :)

Hah, my sister didn’t know what I was watching, and threw me a strange look when she heard, “Hey Annie, it’s your friend Annie.”

I love the couch of glory.

I totally agree about the pedestal sink. If I didn’t have cabinets under my sink, where would I put all my cleaning supplies, hair stuff, toxic waste, and Jimmy Hoffa?

Both of your vids make me proud to be an Annie.

Does Little AP have a blog, too? She should. Can I say that I am huge fan of your chair. I want a chair similar to that.

Sarah- I do have a covert blog, but if I told you where it was, it wouldn’t be… well… covert anymore.

I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOU TO GET HERE!

I know all caps is annoying but I had to get my point across.

Annie, your videos flipping rule, they crack me up! Fun idea to swap videos with Annie D.

LOVE your place. it’s so chic and cute.

question: what program do you use to create your videos? i have to do one for a school project and am kind of clueless as to what to use, and yours are cute, simple, and creative.

    thanks! :)
