I’m kind of a late bloomer.  I was born 2 weeks after my due date.  I didn’t kiss a boy until it was shocking that I hadn’t kissed a boy.  I still don’t know any rap songs.

But this week, finally, years after everyone else, I got an iPhone.

And it’s the most amazing thing ever.

I fought it for so long, telling myself that I didn’t need the bells and whistles, that I could plan in advance and MapQuest directions and write them out on a a Post-It note, that I could text just as well on a Samsung.

But an opportunity came along, as opportunities are wont to do.  And I’m not too proud to admit when I’m wrong.

I was wrong.

But now?  I am so, so right.

I mean, look.  I can use Instagram to make my sad, empty apartment with an ugly air conditioning unit look so… charming and wistful.

I know – effortless evocation.  Aren’t you so jealous of how awesome and romantic my homeless life is?

[Once again, I make my case for a Sarcasm font.]

What will become of me?  I already tracking my calories, and Facebooking on the go, and playing (and winning) Scrabble.  What’s next, geocaching?

Let’s not get crazy.

Jealous. I’m still holding out with a FLIP phone (yes, they still exist and yes, I also google maps in advance).

Yes, Geocaching! You’re an expert now, remember? :)

Words with Friends – I’m seaphotog should you want to play!!! :)
You now have the Subaruthless, but one of my other favorite apps is One Bus Away
I came late to the iPhone as well, but love it and it’s worth every cent.

i am still fighting the good fight. but when i am with someone who owns an iphone or android, i will request to play Angry Birds.

then i giggle when i use up all the phone juice.

The iPhone grabbed me rather late in the game as well (all those arguments you stated existed in my brain as well only two months ago), but you’re right. Once it has you, it has you. It’s Steve Jobs’ world, and we’re all just living it!

Just the same – enjoy the little contraption, it really does do it all!

An iphone? I am behind enough to not even have a cell phone. But, in our house, we do have a cordless phone–which means you don’t have to stand right next to the wall where the phone jack is–you can walk anywhere in the house and still talk on the phone. It’s amazing. (sarcasm font)

SARCASM FONT. Probably your best idea ever.

Oh, and play me in Words with Friends! I’m amandawill. As in, Amanda will kick your ass. Or not. I’m all talk.

I finally became a woman today….and got an iphone. About 4 years too late, but better late than never, eh? I sure will miss that $30/month bill for unlimited text/voice/email though.

Me, too, me too. I’m TerryMcN. So incredibly addicted. Just moved UP to the iPad so I don’t have to squint quite so much when playing :-) But will still play from anywhere with iPhone. I used to think people who sat around with friends all on their iPhones were rude. Now I understand. So it’s best if you only hang out with iPhone users from now on. We all get it :-)

I still don’t have an iphone. I guess I am officially the last person on earth. My phone did just die this week so I am struggling through getting to know my husband’s archaic old blackberry. Plans are to get an iphone 4 this summer when the 5 comes out…if I can hold on to this blackberry till then.

I am obsessed with my iPhone’s apps, always looking for new ways to connect with information. Plus, I just realized that you can take a Safari page you like and add it to your homescreen so that you can click on it like an app and go directly there without having to enter in nasty URLs. So my school gym’s fitness schedule and operating hours have made it there along with my favorite Development Econ professor’s recommended website link site.

Hooray for you and for your Instagram allowing me evermore access into your beautiful and poignant world.

PS: I wish so much that i could eat Larabars just to support you, but I looked and they seriously ARE just nuts. What are us no-nuts people supposed to do? Can’t they just make one lemon and puffed rice bar for me?? I know I ask a lot. :(

OH, I had to laugh! I got George an iPhone for his birthday….something he said he didn’t need and wouldn’t use. HA! He is fiddling with it all the time and now hardly ever uses his computer. I’ve created a monster. Enjoy your new toy, apps and all.

What kind of case did you get for your iphone?
