Sunday Survey
Hello, internet. Was your Saturday fabulous? Mine was. I went antiquing in Nolensville, which is a sentence I never thought I would say. I don’t think I like antiques OR Nolensville. But I found this cute little teal pitcher, so… score. Go me.
In the spirit of friendship and peace, I want to know who you are. Here – have an olive branch. So I came up with this handy-dandy poll! If you would be so kind, please let me know why you are reading this post today.
BFF, people. BFF.

Hi Annie!
I’ve been “lurking” on your blog for the past few months. My friend Juliette (of Nashvegas…knows you through Ross) told me you were a fantastic and hilarious writer, and that you (like me) had a thing for Jim Halpert. I’ve been hooked ever since! Thanks for making me laugh. :)
You didn’t have a category for “We’re tight but I stalk you anyway because I’m twisted like that…”, so I checked #1.
I wish I had been a part of your fantastic Saturday. Me + Traffic School + Work is not = to Fantastic.
I did however enjoy a Splendid Sunday with you. Thanks for the hike friend.
BAAHAHAHA. My buddy and kid sister – now those brilliant jingles are in my head…..
:)
you cracked me up with that, though – it totally DOES look like my buddy toy!!
baahahaha.
Now, see, I feel that I cannot answer your survey tuthfully. I know you, but we’re not “tight”. I’m your internet friend, but I’ve actually met you. Plus, we grew up in the same town, so I am nearly certain that I know somebody who is friends with you. lol
You’re on my RSS feed sista. I catch everything you write virtually as soon as you write it. I’m not all that techie, but using an RSS reader makes me sound techie to me. Ha!
Also, I read your blog because even though I don’t know you I can relate to what you write about, who you write about, and why you write it. Which is funny because I only know you through Marijke who knows you though someone else. And I also have never been where you live, don’t know the people you know, but apparently there is more to life connections than proximity.
Cheers to you my friend. From what you write I know that you are honest, fun, and kind. Or… you’re putting me on. But that means you have quite a bit of gumption. I dig that in someone.
So either way… you’re good.
Internet friends ARE cool these days – you’re so right. Nicely done.
We’re only internet friends until Sunday when I actually hug you in person, then we’ll officially be tight, so I was torn by the categories as well. Can’t wait to, uh, consumate (awkward, I don’t even know what that word means) our relationship…
Are those brownies? YUM. Go, you is right.
I’ve heard that you’re traveling the way of the Space Noodle. Could it be true?
annie parsons, you rock. let’s be friends. let’s go 50/50 on italy.
-k
maybe I should have voted for “a friend of a friend” but really? we all know that’s not true.
it’s your blog that got me. your original myspace blog.
yay internet.
ps Two of your faithful blog readers are my cousin and coworker. I feel like I should get some kind of referral credit. Especially if those nashville housing advertisements have got you raking in the dough by now.
I like the pitcher picture, Annie. Very cute.
