Growing up
I had a thought. It’s not much, and I don’t even know why I’m feeling it acutely these days, but here it is.
It bothers me when people use their singleness as an excuse for continued adolescence.
I don’t want to use my singleness as an excuse for continued adolescence.
That’s all.

I agree with you completely!!
Amen! I don’t think I ever really WAS an adolescent…even when I was an adolescent. :)
Sometimes I feel much more like an adolescent now than I was when I was an actual adolescent. I was always 13-going-on-30.
And now, well…
Depends on the day. :)
“Thank you!” and “Gah!” are the only words I can muster right now.
There’s a difference between being CHILD-LIKE and CHILDISH.
Often people get those 2 confused I think.
does that mean I should stop sitting at the kids’ table at holidays?
Amen! Preach it sister!
(Little AP typed this comment and agrees wholeheartedly. Great thought. :) )
