Songbirds
My friend Haley Shaw is utterly lovely. She sings like an angel, and is wicked smart and real, and is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen up close.
I’ve been listening to her song “Iowa City” on repeat this week. It’s good, y’all. Real good.
There are these two other girls in Nashville that I don’t know, but I wish that I did, because I’m pretty sure we would get along smashingly. If you want to hear some great music, check out Sara Beth Geoghegan’s “Tired of Singing Sad Songs” and Emily DeLoach’s “The Lucky Ones.”

Merry Christmas Eve Eve. I’ve switched to morning workouts, and haven’t worn a stitch of makeup since Sunday.
That’s all of my news. Do YOU have any news?

I just finished up a batch of hand-infused beet vodka, and one bottle has your name on it. So, there is that.
THAT IS THE BEST NEWS.
I have fallen into deep infatuation with Mumford and Sons.
Hm… finished my masters degree. AMEN! God is gooooood. Heard the best 160 beats per minute heart beat ever yesterday.
Got the tree up and decorated two days before Christmas – which means I’ll simply redecorate it for Valentine’s Day.
I love you AP!
sara beth!!!! i went to belmont at the same time as her. memory: i went to orientation the summer before i started, and one night they had a concert for us. well, not really a concert. there were tables set up to play cards, and talk to people, that sort of thing. with different belmont students playing music. we mostly didn’t listen intently to the music, but as soon as sara beth started singing…everyone stopped talking. truly captivating. one of my favorite belmont musicians.
I know Sara Beth. I can totally virtually introduce you.
Annie, you are lovely, upon lovely, upon lovely. Thank you so much for the SWEETEST WORDS EVER!
I’m friends with Sara Beth’s sister. That ALMOST makes someone in common that we both almost know! What a smallish, medium size world we live in. :)
