Ummm…this? Is hysterical. I starred it in Google Reader so I could go back and watch it again soon. :D

You made me laugh at my own office desk, which– kudos. I too am suffering from bad office lighting and a runny nose. It’s freezing in here. I don’t want to make the phone calls that will take me most of today to complete. And it’s grey outside.

BUT tonight I get to eat barbecue. I have pink fingernails. It’s Friday. And you make me smile. :)

The only reason I am missing out on the kind of day you are having is because of the monstrous cold that has taken residence in my head. Lovely. However, my desk is calling my name and this afternoon we shall be reunited.

How can you tell when people subscribe to your blog?

I had one other amazingly hilarious and pertinent comment, but it has flown the coop. Oh the beauty of a head full of cotton.

    OH MY GOSH! HILARIOUS!!!

  4. faryle on February 6, 2009 at 12:27 PM

Those types of things go through my head all day long at my desk. I seriously laughed out loud which in turn got me some strange looks from the office dwellers around me!

    You crack me up.

    My favorite parts:
    – when you laughed randomly
    – the lounge chair
    – God and vampires

yes! I also want to know how you can tell when people subscribe to your blog. Probably through stat counter? But because I use wordpress the stat counter usage is limited. and… that’s the story of my life.

    Happy Friday!

Oh my gosh. Annie. This is really, REALLY, R-E-A-L-L-Y funny. Best Friday blog!!

I agree with Sarah about the favorite parts. The chair lounge for your phone? Really?? I mean… is your phone stressed out and in need of lounging?

I also loved my shout-out. I WILL BE THERE IN ONE WEEK!!!!

  17. Jenni Clayville on February 6, 2009 at 8:35 PM

    weird…

the “btw” comment was supposed to go after this one:

Where in Washington are you from? I grew up in Seattle/Bellevue.

You are hilarious. I like you. Therefore I am going to add you to my reader :)

    Thanks for the laugh today.

I laughed really hard while watching this. It might have been the 3 sangria margaritas I just had at happy hour with my parents. Or the fact that you carry a toothbrush in your purse (I have a full-size, Crest, ultra-soft, if that counts!). Or it might have just been because you really are THAT funny!

This video salvaged my day. Seriously, I would pay to watch it again. The rei mug part was my favorite. I almost dropped my computer off my lap. Thanks Annie!

Dude! I want a lounge chair for my cellphone!

My word is “medna”. It sounds a lot like “Medina”.

Hi. I feel like I need to say 2 things.

1.> I was one of the recent subscribers, because I used to read, then fell away, then came back after my RSS revolution.

2.> I feel we have a mutual understanding: it's okay that I hated the Downs Syndrome "Today" story, and it's okay that you loved it.

    Okay. Back to lurking.

  25. Annie Peterson on February 8, 2009 at 10:51 PM

That’s awesome! I love the lounge chair for your cell phone…

and if you don’t like the Dark Knight, don’t watch it! No need…

  26. Tim and Krysten on February 9, 2009 at 4:21 AM

Annie, you need to audition for ‘The Office’.

  27. the handygraham on February 9, 2009 at 7:48 AM

Annie, you should come video tape my day. I’m going to get milk and febreze right now.

  28. Megan on February 9, 2009 at 5:42 PM

You are hilarious! I think I’m going to watch this again, actually.
I’m friends with Miranda! That really cool girl you get to hang out with. Jealous.
