Update: purse

blog

Some of you have been asking about my search for the ideal purse.*

Listen, all I want is something dark brown and genuine leather, with no silver buckles or gold chains, small enough to carry into a bar, but large enough to lift a bottle of wine from a wedding reception. That’s all. And I can’t find it.

*Total lie. No one has asked. I wanted to talk about it anyway.

What is the desired price range of this perfect purse? I have some that I’m obsessed with and have been saving to buy and would be happy to share :)

Remember when we drank that bottle of wine that I “stole” from a wedding? I felt there was no one better to share my ill-gotten wares with than you. Now, if only I’d had the perfect purse with which to pilfer …

My friend Rudy Tell will make you a bag. (423) 487-2995. Did you ever see the pretty camel-colored one I carried before it was stolen? It conveniently had pockets, made for a water bottle, but used to smuggle travel mugs of hot liquid into movies. It rocked my world.

If you’re willing to drive to Castle Rock, check the outlet stores. I always find oodles of things in those that normal stores don’t carry. Good luck!

I am searching for the exact same purse, Annie! I hate the extra buckles and chains. And I need one big enough for a Nalgene! If you find one let me know and vice versa.
PS- Thanks for the bday wish. The futon has your name on it, lady.
