Coming up next

If you’re wondering what I’m doing tomorrow, and then consider that I might be driving 900 miles by myself in a Penske truck from Colorado Springs to Austin, only to turn around and fly back to Denver on Sunday, well.

You would be right.

And if you’re curious as to what the current weather in Austin is, and then suppose that it’s in the triple digits every day, well.

You would be right about that, too.

And if you ask what I might do to keep myself busy on the drive, and then assume that whatever it is, it will probably include talking out loud to myself and making up ditties about the panhandle of Texas, well.

Wouldn’t you like to know.

Yes I would. And a video of you singing your ditties would be divine. (But only if you’re up for it.)
I’m sure I speak for all Texans when I say, we envy your glorious Colorada weather. Now why do we live here, again?

    Colorado. My apologies!

    Safe travels.

Try Lyle Lovett – Live in Texas, Decembrists, and some Son Volt – Trace, for your listening pleasure. And please bring us some of your Colorado temps along with your ditties!

make sure you go to Trudy’s and get a Mexican Martini after that drive. And then get up and have Magnolia Cafe or Kerby Lane pancakes before getting on your plane.

    Otherwise…. it’s a wasted trip:)

You’re on your way! You’re driving nowwwwww!

How’s it going? We will talk soon. :)

Now… say what? Are you moving to Austin or moving someone else to Austin? Are you leaving Becca and the Greebs (?) behind? Or do they live there? So many questions – none of it really my business – good golly, though, that is a lot of miles and I hope you travel safe and don’t suffer from heat stroke, once you get there!
